They're Gonna Put It In

Just heard from the OR and they are going to implant the device! We're almost 4 hours in and they're expecting it'll be at least another hour. Hard to believe that this surgery will wind up taking longer than open heart surgery!

I'm excited to hear that the surgeon's going to implant it, but we are getting weary here in our little pre-op waiting room. Chocolate goodies, fun magazines, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Ryder Cup, From Fear to Freedom and games on my phone have been keeping Sara and me occupied. And I'm sure the prayers of many people are keeping us supported. Thank you, Jesus, for all these good gifts.
